A New Mission: Fighting Food Insecurity for Our Aging Veterans

Across Massachusetts, many of our veterans—especially those who served long ago—are quietly struggling. Rising food prices, increasing housing costs, and limited fixed incomes are leaving aging veterans without enough to eat. These are the same men and women who once served our country with strength and sacrifice—and now, many are going without the basic necessities they’ve earned.
At Massachusetts Veterans Alliance Foundation, we’re a newly formed nonprofit built to respond to this growing crisis. We’ve seen the need firsthand—veterans choosing between groceries and medication, skipping meals to make rent, or simply going without because they don’t want to ask for help.
We believe they shouldn’t have to ask. They deserve better.
And with your help, we can deliver it.
As a brand-new organization, we’re just getting started—but we’re committed. Our mission is to ensure that no veteran in our community faces hunger or hardship alone. Your donation right now helps us launch vital programs that provide food support, outreach, and dignity to those who served.
Every dollar helps us build the foundation.
Every gift moves us forward.
Every bit of support honors a veteran.
Help us stand up for those who once stood for us.
